So.... what's up?
Sorry I haven't been around. It's not that there's so much going on in my life, I'm too busy to talk. It's just that I don't FEEL like talking. It's nothing you've done. It's just me.
At any rate, things seem to be going well. I certainly don't have anything to complain about. My health is good and my finances are as good as they can be in this grizzled post 9-11 world.
I am excited about football season. If I recall, I believe I was the Vox group champion...
I was just over at BabySteps' blog and he showed the "Rise Up" promo that features Sam Jackson. For crying out loud! I just kept thinking "Inglewood Jack!"
Something Random
I saw a UFO a few months ago. I was coming out of a store and the battery to the vehicle was dead. That was weird enough. Then, as I was walking to my destination I saw it. It was triangular in shape with a large circular light in the center and three more lights at the tips of the triangle. It moved very slowly across the sky and then banked and I saw a long rectangular light on one side of the craft. I had another person witness this event. We sort of looked at each other and without speaking said, "What the hell was that?!"
I was pretty spooked about it. I saw a similar looking thing years ago the summer before I started my freshman year in college as I traveled from Montgomery, AL to Atlanta. I I saw what appeared to be 4 lights in the sky. There was a large red circular light surrounded by three white lights (as if at the points of a triangle). My roommate in college told me that he had seen something similar at about the same time frame.
What happened was that I thought I saw a weird reflection in my wind shield and it moved very slowly across my field of view at the top of my windshield. I pulled over and got out of my car to look at the sky. Two or three other cars behind me stopped as did a few cars on the opposite side of I-85. I looked up and the lights came to a stop and then it appeared to shoot straight up out of view.
I know that many of you out there are skeptics and I'm skeptical, too. I'm just telling you what I saw. The whole idea of extraterrestrials having lights on their craft is kind of stupid. Our aircraft have lights so that they can be identified from the ground and also to avoid collisions. Aliens with technology far advanced than ours would not need such acoutrements to their craft.
Just something to discuss, if you're so inclined...
